2012 Educational Field Trips & Programs

The Trolley Museum provides a multitude of opportunities for students and adults alike to learn about and experience the Trolley Era first hand with a ride on an actual vintage trolley that can be as much as 100 years old! Learn the difference between a streetcar and a trolley and why we came to call them trolleys.

Students
of all ages learn how their parents and grandparents traveled to school, to church, to shopping destinations and memorable places of childhood like Kennywood, West View and even Willow Grove. The Museum's extensive collection of streetcars from all over Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio offers the chance to see one from your hometown and experience the sights and sounds of a bygone era!
